We will be heading over to the Pacific side for a few days, after Easter week....Whats the road like from Abreojos to La Bocana and on to Ascuncion?

Was a better than typical graded road last July. Baja Blanca's b&b in La Bocana and Shari's b&b in Bahia Asuncion.

from Abre to Bocana is just as good as pavement. 50mph all the way if you want. from there to BA is long washboard but definately do-able as far as
Baja roads go.

the pole line road isnt too bad between San Hipolito & Asuncion...we drove it a couple days ago...dont drive too fast though as there are some
interesting curves!

Asphalt all the way from highway 1 to Abre, we drove it yesterday and there are a couple of potholes that pop up out of nowhere, so be careful.
Take the salt flat straight out of Abre on Calle Dominguez, bearing right on the hardened paths. The pole road is pretty bad.
