Juncalito Access
Can a 4wheel drive towing a small light 5th wheel get onto the beach (and off!) at Juncalito?
Muchas Gracias!

You can get in and out with 2 wheel , no problem . love that beach
! Spent 6 months there in an old school bus, diving the islands and loving life .
Was there a few months ago still good.

I am assuming you mean Free Beach, not El Juncalito. the former is the sand camping beach area one turn off past El J. yes, you can access the beach
there. there is no access to 'the beach' at El J. if you go into the little village, you can't turn south and access Free Beach, the 'road' doesn't
go south across the arroyo. the beach of El J itself is rock, no camping.
reality\'s never been of much use out here...

Although...
there is always someone selling their palapa @ El Juncalito, and they are usually very inexpensive.
The free beach is gorgeous, however, and you get a superb view of the water AND the sheer red cliffs just on the other side of Mex 1.
EJ is not for everyone, but if peace and solitude are what you are looking for, this is your spot!

the views are nice where the palapa's are it doesn't really have a beach per say, it is all round rocks and not very nice to "stroll" on. The free
beach is very nice and a mix of sand and stones. We stayed in Juncalito in january at a friends palapa but there were plenty of vehicles with towed
units on the free beach.
