Not yet, lots of good stores thought, Walmart, Sam's, City Club and many more. If there is something you need, you should be able to find it somewhere
in La Paz.

Good site to check surface temps, http://www.terrafin.com/sstview/showFreeChart.php?ct=free&am... wait for a day that has less clouds for a better view. It was in the mid to lower
70's a week ago, it will be different near shore, we always use the thicker lycra suits this time of year, there are dive shops and outfits in La Paz,
they should be a good source.

City Club in LaPaz is kind of like Costco. They will give you a day pass for 25 pesos and that is only paid if you buy something.
Sam's in LaPaz will not give you a day pass. You have to have a membership.
Sorianna, Mega, Walmart . . . .lots of good shopping in LaPaz!

Went sailing two weeks ago because it was too windy to fish. Dropped the hook in Pichilingue and dived right in. A little chilly on that first entry
but then it was actually comfortable.

My new fave shopping adventure in La Paz is the CHEDRAUI store on Abasolo, on the north end of town......they stock everything from clothing,
cosmetics, housewares, groceries, hardware, furniture, even motor scooters!
They have a gourmet section that is outstanding! And the prices are totally reasonable.....

Do visit Playa de Balandra for a beautiful day trip close to town, with warm water and snorkeling.......

The Walmart in LP doesn't come close to the Cabo store.
Costco in Cabo is similar to the San Juan Capistano store I shop at. It has everything.

I go along with Lee's sentiments.
Do spend the time to purchase tequila at Costco in SJDC. REALLY>>>REALLY good sippin tequila for 80 pesos.
I got the original tip from Bajaguy, in Ensenada. The man knows his stuff!

Speaking of sipping Tequila and Chedraui, they carry a brand called Viejo Louis (Old Louie). They were giving taste tests one time we were there and
we tried it. It was great! One of the smoothest sipping Tequilas I've had. Need to make a trip to La Paz just for that.
