Ensenada

Autocarr body shop in Ensenada. They are a chain in Northern Baja. See Ricardo the manager. Autocarr is located on third street at the river/wash downtown.

Baja Guy. Have you had any work done by these guys. I had my Jeep Painted by a local and it's ok. I want to get my Suburban painted and would like a little better job.

Yes, had the whole truck painted. It appears to be a good job. Had it done in March of this year and so far, holding up.

I can show you the before photos in about a week, will be down June 1st

Autocarr

Tony.......your vehicle should have the paint color noted somewhere. Sticker on door pillar frame or a sticker in the glove box. If not, I'm sure they can match it to the year and make of your vehicle.

Apparently they can get US type auto paint in Ensenada. Didn't have a problem matching the paint on my 2006 Toyota Tacoma

Bob, I thought of the exact same thing about Mexray having his green Bronco painted. How in the world does something like that stick in a guys mind?

The SAME boiling water that softens the potato hardens the egg. It's about what you are made of NOT the circumstance.

The Auto Body Paint Guys are Very Sophisticated These Days

The guy who repainted my car had a book and matched the paint perfectly, and applied the exact same color and position of the pinstripes.

anyone can spray paint...the prep work is what is important

will the panels be "flat"

that's the test

i've seen painters match paint almost perfect
and others try and miss by a mile

it's a crap shoot...lots of variables when painting "old junkers"

you might be better leavng it "stock"
