Truck rental San Diego-San Quintin-San Diego?

Anyone have any suggestions? I need a truck to go down and get my boat in San Quintin and take it back to San Diego. From there I will have it shipped to Everett WA where I live now.
So I need a fullsize like an F-150 Ford.
I towed the boat down there with my truck but that is now located in Everett WA also. So I need to fly down and rent a truck.

My original plan was based on me living in Orange County where I could drive down and use my boat on a long weekend. That plan is no longer possible due to needing to relocate to Washington for my career.
So I figure I should try and get it up here so I can play on Lake Washington and Puget Sound.

I have been here a little over a year now and it's pretty nice here. Sure it rains here a little but it's a dry rain!
My Baja dream is just a little on hold that's all. Would love to get my boat up here though so I can keep getting it dialed in and of course play with it...

It's a 23 FT Sea Ray. I towed it with my F-150 no problem.

Here's another option, perhaps: shipping company, ACV Logistics in San Diego. They do regular runs in and out of Baja. Wouldn't hurt to ask.

Called CABAJA. Can use their truck for $457.14. 2 days and they allow towing. A little expensive but works with my schedule.

That's funny because this little exercise started when I thought about buying another boat to keep up here and leave my Sea Ray in San Quintin.
It"s cheaper to just ship the Sea Ray here.
Who knows if it will ever get back to Baja after that.

here is another idea that I have used many times in the past to pick up trailers and things

contact a big local RV dealer in your area, talk to some one in the transportation dept,
the bigger Rv Dealers use part time and retired drivers that have trucks to pull RVs to shows and for deliveries.
its usually a lot cheaper than going thru a shipping company,
some of these retired guys will jump at the chance, its a big adventure for them,

You may want to check into uship.com. I've used them a number of times to tow boats cross country with good results, this was in the US, not sure if you can find somebody to do Baja. Just make sure you check the drivers feedback and reviews first. Good luck.

Ok. A little feedback.
After beating every bush I could find I ended up renting a truck with CABAJA. They allow towing with their truck.
I had some really great offers of help from fellow Nomads. And a lot of good ideas were shared also.
Because my schedule is so tight once I figured out the right truck I knew I needed to do this by myself.
I will leave San Diego on Thursday and will return there on Friday night with the boat in tow. So this is a quick turn and hard work for sure.
My boat will get picked up by a shipper ( uShip ) on Sunday and I will be on a plane home to Washington on Monday afternoon as soon as I finish a little business in Orange County.
So if all of my little ducks will stay in their row, my boat will be Everett WA on Tuesday and maybe even Monday night when I get there.
So that will be the end of my boat in Baja and the beginning of Washington at least for now.
Of course I plan to fly back to Ca and drive on down into Baja for fishing and fun whenever I can. And I still have my little fishcamp at Pedregal in San Quintin bay. Who knows if this plan works I out I my be able to ship my boat back if I plan to spend a month or so down in Baja.
The dream is alive!
