Hey, They do show up --- from the Governor on down whenever they have something to dedicate like the refurbished baseball field complete with night lights and astro turf and they keep promising that the road will be repaired.

And you know, it will be repaired ---- sometime, some day.

Oh, how nice that would be!

This would work, we have seen one of these in BA, but it arrived from a different direction.

The locals who have to drive that road all the time really need it repaired and will be very happy when it happens. Far more important for them then for the tourists.

could it be that the current politico's are well aware of the road but still smarting from the last election support?

I also heard a rumor from a local here that Asuncion insulted the Governor and his entourage on his first trip there...but maybe that is just a vicious rumor.

Seems something is amiss since our road was repaired this last year.

but do you know, here in La Bocana they grade the road between punta abreojos and la bocana to make the governor's ride smooth every single time he comes.

so short sighted. I am sure he has no idea what they are talking about when they say "pave the road". Whenever he comes it is beautiful.

the main road from the highway to punta abreojos is indeed OK, so, what's up that they are not taking care of Asuncion? Time to talk to the politicos for sure if it is that bad ))):
