Hey villafontana, If I was to respond thinking of you . . . you mention the year of your truck. Doesn't necessarily mean you cannot easily go to San
Quintin. Your goal in two wheel vehicle, is the beach for beach camping, as on your way to Cabo San Quintin. For Cabo, you need four wheel in the
final stretch for the 270 degree view. Walk it. David K is the resident wizard for maps. You will turn at the military base, go to the sea, and
head south and find what you are comfortable with.
Nonetheless, close, rewarding and addicting.

Beach-------(with 4-wheel drive, or good off-road vehicle, w/ a tin-boat on top) Animas Bay south of BOLA
Inland en route-----------outside Catavina in the rocks and out of sight of the highway.
Any of the many canyons on the east slope of the Sierra Juarez or San Martir Ranges, especially if they have running water (which many do).

used to be all up and down the east cape....no mas; all fenced off now......the hot springs at agua caliente just out of santiago is/was very cool if
you could find a place to pitch your tent that wasn't occupied by a cow pie...km 61 north of guererro negro; right turn southbound and out across the
scrub to the pacific....on the cliffs above the pacific south of san quintin at valle de tranquilo....old abandoned rv park....we still stop there to
pee altho the gate is closed now...watched a bunch of guys wade the surf for clams one time there a couple of decades ago in a driving
rainstorm...mouth of the estuary at san gregorio on the pacific side...woke up one morning and our tent and camp was an island with surf roaring all
around us...learning curve!....last but not least requeson on concepcion....whatta feeling to wake up surrounded by water!!
dyslexia is never having to say you\'re yrros.

Thank u Bajacalifornian for the advice. We went to San Quintin last month, and i didnt have any mechanical problems. We had a smooth ride overthere.
We stayed in a great hotel called Mission. But we didnt had time to explore around. We just went to a friends house and we head back the next morning
after a great breakfast in this hotel. we recommended 100%.
