| Bernie's books- still available

I asked Jaimie if she still had some books available.
 "Oh yes" was her reply

I know that it is probably too soon to really get going on the project, but while the topic is still current and folks are asking I am encouraging her
to sell these to Nomads, including her own autograph if requested.

The pricing and the shipping are up to her, but I would recommend that you either respond here, or by U2U and get them from a reliable and excellent
source.

And, I just scanned Amazon for some price comparisons and they have exactly zip, zap, nada in stock.

Several used for sale, and one off-shore place offers "No Hurry, No Worry" for the really sweet price of only $84 (Yes folks, that is US bucks!!!)

Time to chime in and get this ball rolling..

and yeah, for a modest price I might even autograph the latest.... then again, you would probably pay a premium to keep me off the front inside
page....

I was able to get the 3 books off of Amazon. I did not think of asking Jaime directly. They were all used but in (supposedly) very nice condition.
If there are any of the ones given to members at the book signing I would love to purchase one of those!

I just looked and there are used books still available on Amazon. I searched under his name and there are a handful of used ones left.

Some of the used book prices on Amazon are fishing expeditions. Cast it out there and see what bites.

As noted, when I read the other thread I looked right away on Amazon and ordered them since there were so few there. I should have asked Jaime first
and I would have gotten from her directly if I knew she had some.

Also, on the other thread, I kind of asked the question about a garage full of books, but she evidently missed it.

Since David is in the book business, maybe he could gather up the inventory and sell them for Jaime.
 Just a thought.

 Hi, Jaime here.
yes, I have books, Bernies books. I am willing to offer them to you all, and make sure 1/2 of the sale price goes to people helping people in Baja.
Bernie would like that. U2U me and we can take care of everything.
If someone was asking me about the books in a round a bout way......sorry, I guess I was out of my mind with grief....remember what has just
happened. Sorry I missed the cue.

| Thanks Jaime for making this possible

Jaime and I talked last night for an hour....
lots of tears, and some real great laughs too.
It was a real "Bernie style" conversation.

 Long story short..
Jaime has limited copies of each of his books, brand new out of the box.

She will sell them, subject to supplies on hand, for $10 each, plus $3 shipping and postage.

And, if asked, I know she would add a nice autograph in the front in honor of our guy.

U2U her, or otherwise let her know,
I am here to help, as I can, but 400 miles away makes it difficult to do much more than be a cheerleader.

And it is for a good cause.

As to the tales we told, you will just have to attend the memorial or ask her yourself.
 I ain't gonna go there.....

 Jaime here.
Thank you Dick, all so well said. Yes, laughs and tears last night, and so worthy of Bernie.
Bernies Memorial is going to be on AUGUST 10, SATURDAY, 4-7 at the san diego police pistol range in spring valley, san diego. He is a retired
Police Captain, and will be honored there, by many friends and co-workers, family members and Baja lovers! We will have a PA set up for anyone to
speak.....and I do look forward to the memories everyone has.
I do have some books, so please let me know who is interested.
