Sounds interesting. I have been to WRC races in Guanajuato and had a great time. I will add this race to my "bucket list".

I seemed to recall (which means I could be wrong) Honda's first win was at a F1 Grand Prix held in, or near, Mexico City. Driver was American, Richie
Ginther, in the Honda powered with an H-16 engine. Their street cars of that day were abismal contraptions, but was soon to change.

Okay, the engine in the Mexico win sounds like it was a V-12. They had been experimenting with several configurations. I was wrong about the cars,
too. They seemed to only sell motorcycles, high revving machines, at that time (and later). The cars I remember were seen about 1969, I think it was
called the S-600. Not quite the Mercedes 600 of the day, but then again, never meant to be.

The first that I ever saw (in person) was in early '64 parked at Hawthorne Municipal Airport. Looking underneath, I was surprised to see it had
enclosed "Chain" final drive.

BTW, Italian GP at Monza this weekend on NBC Sports.
