Fishing license

Anybody have luck getting a license on line lately. I tried and was able to login and my past history was there but got a site upgrade or site maintance message if I tried to purchase a new license. Seems like it has been that way a few days. Any advise? Jim

good call, Marc! spend a little more for the convenience of smooth travels... it seems like everybody wants the lowest Fn price on everything in their lives. If you expect the lowest Fn price, expect the lowest Fn experience....

just saying....

I got one about a month ago, there are a couple of sites, I had the same problem as you with the first site but ended up getting it from the Baja Sur Government web site. I'll try to find it again and post it here.

this is a new site that is easy as pie...click on the top squares one at a time, name, address, type of license, day, week, month, year, put the date in, acuerdo(agreement) to click I agree, then pago en linea and give your credit card #, then a page comes up with a link, click on it and your license appears to print or save it. I just got two for clients here in about 10 minutes!!! way easier than the old one.

Marc, already in Mexico so is it possible to print the license off the Internet or does DB mail the license to you. Really looking for a site where one can print the license on line. Thanks, Jim

Jim, I've printed auto insurance from Discover Baja but not fishing licenses. Call them and they may do a credit card deal and scan the license?? Worth a try. 800-727-2252 <www.discoverbaja.com>

Me thinks you have to become a member of Discover Baja to get fishing licenses, auto insurance, etc... We have use them for several years and it works out very well for us.. we have the licenses in just a few days before we head south... We would be glad to carry them down if that is what is needed but we will not head south until mid Oct...this year...
That is if the creek don't get any higher in Colorado this week...
Colorado decided to take the brunt of the Mulege floods this year so we could relax for the winter.... You are Welcome....

That's the site I used also. I had a bit of a glitch because they were having some sort of problem with their system the day I tried to download it, but got it all straightened out with a phone call.

Passing along Another Update ..
Discover Baja USD $15 ea daily.

On this site apps.bcs.gob.mx/finanzas/finaweb/fonmar/index.php they are priced: (Mxn $)
Individual por Día - $ 175.00
Individual por Semana - $ 341.00
Individual por Mes - $ 480.00
Individual por Año - $ 618.00

Most economical is Conapesca in San Diego CA for those able to visit or do US mail with them. USD $9.25 ea daily and USD $23.20 for weekly .. they also sell monthly and annual licenses.
