Border wait time app

I've downloaded this border wait time app on my phone and it says at 4:00 P.M. today at San Ysidro there is a 30 min. wait in the standard lane. That seems really fast. Is this info/website accurate?

If it's this app:

http://traffic.calit2.net/border/mobile.php

It gets its info from:

http://apps.cbp.gov/bwt/display_rss_port.asp?port=250401

Everyone seems to have a different opinion on how accurate it's been for them. My own personal experience has been favorable.

The CBP updates their site every hour (or so).

My experience with that app (and all the apps that just read the RSS feed from the CBP) is that you need to add time as follows:

Otay Mesa: 10 minutes weekdays, 20 minutes weekends, 30 minutes holiday weekends

San Ysidro: 20 minutes weekdays, 45 minutes weekends, 1 hour holiday weekends

Tecate: Generally accurate (within 10 minutes)

I have SENTRI now so it's been a while; they could have improved it, but my money would be on not.

It's accurate unless you get sent to secondary.
