Gold mining in Todos Santos?

I've read a couple of articles like this one talking about a Canadian company mining for gold in the Media Luna area of Todos Santos. Does anyone know where this is?

Canadian companies mine all over the world, one has a 10% share in Boleo.

Lots of ore being shipped to China via Santa Rosalia for steel smeltering.

Kind of makes oxxo arrival in El Triunfo seem picayune. Or a symptom of prosperity.

My first trip there was in one of those vans filled with American tourists, but I sensed that there was more to it than the Hotel California. Happily, I was right.

LOT's of posts (here on Nomad) on this mine idea... I took this photo last year, in Todos Santos. Painted by anti-mine people, I was told... It would be located in the mountains to the northeast of Todos Santos, near where silver and gold has been mined since the 1700's!

Thank you for posting that painting in front of the school in Todos Santos. I passed it every day when we stayed in Las Tunas a few months back, but I had no idea what it meant.
