Is this great news, we all can read BBP message board again?

if you are a member.... ;^) For the record, mine has lapsed along with a few friends of mine. Sorry to hear from C205 that no new pireps on PSFO tho. In all my years there we'd just drop in and see what's up. If good we'd stay, if not move along. Sure wish for the good old days there but that would take an ownership change i think. El Barril might be a good alternate.

they still have much stuff at the non members pages.

. . .Some of my friends are flying their planes down to PSFO & then to Mulege ( 10/20 - 10/25 )where we will meet; so looks like my route & timing is gonna change; also do not want to drive from BOLA to PSFO if it gonna be a hassle. . Probably head from BOLA over to Asuncion & Abrejos & Tortugas?? & then San Ignacio before continuing south to Mulege. . . And after that??????

So, after all this... you are not going to PSFO??? :o

Have a fun trip wherever you go! If you do go back via PSFO, a short sidetrip to Santa Gertrudis is worth the 11 mile graded road (off the good road north from Guillermo Prieto to PSFO).

OK, cool... when I read this in your reply: "also do not want to drive from BOLA to PSFO if it gonna be a hassle. . " I thought that you excluded it.

It is a long way in if you don't go on through to Bahia de los Angeles.... I don't think the road was any worse than a lot of graded roads... in Baja! You can't be in a hurry if you are towing...

If you want a look at the photos I took at Mission Santa Gertrudis last summer, let me know. I use the mission bells of Santa Gertrudis as our mission book's Facebook page header: http://facebook.com/oldmissions

HERE are the area maps, mileages added from my trips:

If northbound or south, the shortcut road to Vizcaino via Guillermo Prieto is quite popular to avoid El Arco (the section between Miraflores and Piedra Blanca of 12.3 to 12.8 miles in length was great but I did not use it last summer).
