Pet friendly in LaPaz?
We are headed to La Paz for a few days from Loreto with the little mascotas. Can anyone suggest a pet friendly moderately priced motel/hotel with
small dog access ? I checked the hotels on BN but no mention of pets.
Thanks!!

I think Oasis allows pets to sleep in crates in the rooms, it's a very affordable hotel with pool

X2 what Mula says. Casa Buena is reasonably priced and pet friendly.

LAP is NOT a very pet friendly city. Remember the malecon? I guess it has opened up now again for dog-walking but it was bad.
Not much choice in accommodation with Casa Buena being the one.
The grass is always greener....
and so, there is always a better spot in Baja

We have stayed at El Moro on the east (?) side of the malecon with our dog, but prefer Casa Buena. Less money and we like the enclosed parking area.

CasaBuena and El Moro are both good choices. In my opinion, CasaBuena has nicer rooms. But El Moro is right on the malecon.

Hotel Lunasol has three pet friendly rooms. They are in the cabanas, separate from the main building. They don't have the nice views and balconies
that the other part has, but you'll have access to the kitchen and upstairs sitting area.
It's a nice little hotel, connected to an ecotourism company offering kayak trips, etc. Price is comparable to Casabuena, and we like it better,
though both are good choices.
El Moro is a beautiful old-style Baja hotel-- spacious, nice architecture, classically furnished large suites, most with a large sitting
-dining-kitchen-area and separate bedroom. And a gorgeous pool, and a not-so-great breakfast restaurant that is sometimes open, sometimes not. It is
expensive, and the front desk isn't friendly or helpful, but once you're in it's a nice place to be.
edit: added two words I left out...

Thank you, Paula for posting info on Posada Luna Sol. The pictures of the place appear quite nice, we will check it out next visit.
We agree with you totally on your description of Club El Moro, very nice and large rooms but at a price.

El Moro is a great deal, pet friendly rooms, and if you are looking for a great price buy the pre-paid package and the price is lower if you pre buy.
We spend quite a bit of time in La Paz and it has worked well for us. Agree on the restaurant, they used to provide free coffee if you were in the
rooms, but that stopped and the prices have gone up.

Blanca,
I have some recent, yesterday, photos from the beach I'll try to upload. Chica, the pup, is fine and Guapo is doing great. He still does not trust
Mexican men so morphs from "El Guapo" to "Tyrano-Guapus-Mex"has ..even though he mostly gums not teeth. We are in Colonia Zarragosa but headed south
to La Paz for a few days. Bonnie heard about a chocolate place....
Say howdy to Les!
