10:00 AM to 2:00 PM daily, many chofers will take siesta although even this custom seems to be disappearing. Fridays have more everything on the road.
Sundays, a few less trucks a lot more cars. I used to count a half-dozen cars between Guerrero and Ignacio in the summer. Now I count 6 per two
kilometers.

Sundays seem better for us thru the miserable stretch between Ensenada to El Rosario. Tim, you will be surprised how much traffic has increased since
your last trip South. It will be great when the Gonzaga Bay to Hwy 1 road improvements are complete. Going South I can handle the congestion but
going North I find it very tiring and stressful.

Sundays are church/family day and recovery from Saturday night hangovers...just like the rest of the planet. It seems quieter to us.

| Around here only the women go to church, the men are too busy drinking. Monday is the day to recover from
the hangover while pretending to work.

Our problem is we want to go thru Us/Canada border, Seattle/Tacoma, Portland, LA, San Diego, US/Baja border and Bajanorte all on Sunday morning.
Sunday morning is just not 40 hours long.

You are doing the right thing as long as the weather is good. January is our coastal route.
