... and a time for every purpose under heaven...
So sorry to hear this. He'll be missed but remembered and revered.
Condolences to his family and friends.

DianaT -
Carl Safina's Destination Baja can be viewed in its entirety here: http://chedd-angier.com/savingtheocean/Season1/Episode1.html... That way, you don't have to wait for PBS to show it again - You can watch it
whenever it is convenient.

I could not get that link to work, but I found it and here is the link. Destination Baja
Enjoyed it with my coffee and it sure makes me look even more forward to our trip back to San Ignacio this year. It is on top of our list of favorite
places and definitely the place to which we return year after year for whale watching! And we absolutely love the drive out to the lagoon from the
town.
I must say, however, that he made a comment at the end which would not be good for the other two lagoons. He says that the friendly whales are in San
Ignacio and that they keep their distance in the other lagoons. While it seems the whales in San Ignacio have the reputation of being the most
friendly, we have been with friendly whales in the other lagoons. I just thought it was a bit hurtful to the local tourist industry in the other
lagoons that do have friendly whales.
Overall, I enjoyed watching it. And it is no doubt that Don Pachico was one of a kind who made a difference. Thanks.
