Anyone know what this means?

Greetings all,

I was down not too long ago (mid-Pacific side North of GN) and came across some kind of Puffer Shark hanging in the middle of no-where with its head chopped off at the gills. Anyone know the meaning or significance of this?

Thanks in advance for any input!

Lake Pacific. No doubt about it - Unless you go get those summer time swells, that's the time to go! Don't say I never gave any good advice to the masses ;)

I don't know about the sting ray jerky, but this one had all the signs of a lynching!

No idea if it means anything, but what I am impressed with is that on your first post you were able to attach a photo. Welcome aboard.

Well thanks for the comedy relief haha

I thought jerky too and whomever hung it didn't want the bees and other flying projectiles in that region to be bothersome; but this was hours away from anything/anybody. Seems it could of been hung closer to civilization and still of been fine if that was the case..

Anyway, maybe it was just some other crazy explorers and it doesn't mean anything.

I guess the mystery continues
