Costco 'steel frame canopy' (garage/carport)?
Anyone seen this item at the Ensenada or Cabo Costco? Or for that matter, any Costco along the I-5 corridor?
The US Costco stores apparently consider this to be a seasonal item and they're sold off and/or stored in the "back-room" storage area to make room
for Christmas stuff. Thus, right now they're hard to find.
Specifically, we're looking for the 10'x20' canopy with full walls (with or without windows) and full-width "doors" on each end that open with
zippers.
Any suggestions on where to find such an item greatly appreciated!
Gracias, Roberto

Roberto--------Are you sure you really want one of these? My neighbor has one, and he has to replace the canvas cover about every 2 to 3 years, and
we have very little wind in Redding, CA. The sun just cooks them.

Barry | Yup 'fer sure. Been using them for years. Ours is only setup and used 5 months (Nov - Mar) while
we're in Baja and they last much longer with the lower sun angle in the winter. Plus, ours is facing east such that the north side roof and wall are
not exposed to the sun. We then alternate the roof and wall tarps every year to double the life span of the tarp material (not canvas btw).

Try the Costco website for on-line shopping.

@ Sams Ensenada

Costs around $4,500 pesos, cant remember the exact figure. I was thinking in using one of these as a small backyard greenhouse.

Thanks for all the replies! We finally found one at the Englewood Costco. There were at least 3 Costco stores in the LA area that claimed to have some
in stock.
It's been setup for 5 days now and it's great! I pretty much assembled all by myself - piece of cake!
FYI, some other guys I know ordered a 'Shelter Logic' canopy and it's junk compared to the Costco canopy. My advice, never order one without actually
seeing one already setup - otherwise, good luck!

Do not set one up in Baja Sur. The winds will either destroy the canopy or send to to the next town.
