Try Southwest from LAX to points east. Also, Air Tran to Cabo and back to various US destinations:

If you're really serious, you can fly to TIJ and then cross to SAN and fly from there... sometimes it's cheaper, sometimes it ain't.

Air Tran is wholly owned by Southwest.

travel from Cabo or La Paz, transferring in Mexico City (or another major Mexico hub) to a major hub on the USA East Coast. don't make the mistake of pricing it separately, ie a flight to Mexico City and then another to the USA but as a 'direct' trip...it will be cheaper if Aeromexico has a standard flight plan to wherever you are going. also worthwhile checking other major carriers this type route.

reality\'s never been of much use out here...

thx guys very helpful.I have tried Volaris but it is most difficult to understand their scheduling(at least for me). I have found these to be the reasons for high air fares1-fuel prices,2-lack of competition 3-keeping beverages and fine cuisine at such low low prices.Ya i made 3rd one up.
