Show one!!!! Just effing one!!!

By your baloney numbers I have to assume 25% of the population has removed themselves from the pool of humans that are biologically concerned with propagation of the human species.
What indigestible, baloney crap.

I don't believe homosexuals are born as such. I believe everybody is a product of their environment.
Gays......straights...homos...queers.... dykes...cal'em what you will...are all formed from day one of their life on earth. There is no queer gene, and we arn't brainless ducks.
There is however a propensity for the species to be straight and biologically interested in reproduction.

Add to this IMHO, they have no "rights" to marry and receive equal fiscal "rights" in our society.
Rights are clearly stated in our Constitution, and marriage isn't mentioned for anybody...gay...straight....or any other weird reasons.

Why do you have to fan the flames of this sht, Howard?

Jon seems to be at a loss for words, so I'll appeal to anyone else here to take up his stance. For some reason he failed to stand behind his accusation.

Anybody???????

Are people in Baja tolerant enough that whoever placed the ad felt comfortable enough to make it a headline and to believe that it will help bring in customers?

I honestly don't have an opinion or any knowledge about the subject.

I'm thinking that if you took the time to post a new thread about this subject, you do have an opinion. Just my opinion.

That said, what is happening right now in many places around the world, including the US, is encouraging. Why should anyone give a flip about someone else's gender orientation? It has become a political wedge issue in the states, but geez, at the end of the day, what does it matter.

OK, you caught me

My opinion is that folks ought to talk to each other about stuff.

I consider myself to be “straight”, whatever that is. I do believe that there is a lot of latitude in human sexuality and that none of us are totally gay or straight. I believe that we all are, to a certain degree, bi-sexual. Physiologically (brain function, genetically,...), psychologically, and that sexual preference is biologically determined.

It is not limited to just the bedroom either, the sexual predilections. It affects all aspects of a person’s life and lifestyle to varying degrees and determines in many respects the course of a persons life at a sub-concious and conscious level. A lot of it hormonal and at a sub-concious level, some of it consciously perceived.

I am very fortunate having one son who is a pure Gay guy, another who is heavy into Tantra, Polyamory, marriage and dating (though not ‘swinging’, a completely different dynamic), and am able to compare and see their lives play out very specifically.

It is a fascinating and rewarding pursuit as they both live international, rewarding lives filled with friends and travel, language, education and cultural pursuits. In other words they are both living life to the max, in many of the same ways, and they both have the capacity to love which is the all encompassing gratification of a full human existence.

“My opinion is that folks ought to talk to each other about stuff.”

Oh Gypsy Jan I so agree. I am afraid though that we may have lost the ability of pure thought and honest interconnection with others of our tribe. I will leave you with an extract from “Gone Girl” by Gillian Flynn.

“I don't know that we are actually human at this point, those of us who are like most of us, who grew up with TV and movies and now the Internet. If we are betrayed, we know the words to say; when a loved one dies, we know the words to say. If we want to play the stud or the smart-ass or the fool, we know the words to say. We are all working from the same dog-eared script.

It's a very difficult era in which to be a person, just a real, actual person, instead of a collection of personality traits selected from an endless automat of characters."

I hope you are able to love life, however it is for you.

Sure. Why not? I enjoyed my Anthro classes in college. Always something to learn. Better by far when people don't try to force-feed that education.

Dennis,
I'm gonna walk down the street to pick up some Tito's Tacos. Their stuff is pretty tasty. I'll respond when I get back. I don't have anything ground shattering. I just think your posts on this subject will be laughed at in 50 years. They're laughed at now. There's no better judge of a statement than time, and your's won't age well.
Still friends,
Jon

Don't think I didn't consider that, Jon. I mean, I'm a few feet from dead right now, but...50 years from now? I really give a sht..
Besides....in fifty years , the gay community will all be glued together in a wad of hedonistic semen with no reason to keep on living, other than a feel good sensation. They live for the orgasm.
Straight's live for the species....the offspring....the family.

Don't ask for more if you don't want to hear it.

Dennis,

So my statement was this:

"You just threw gasoline on the fire Dennis and didn't look too smart doing it."

This was in response to you saying Howard was "fanning the flames of this shet".

In my opinion, in this thread, the only one up till then who was fanning flames was you by talking about how you shouldn't have to watch RUPAUL.

This was a thread about a gay bar. When the second thing out of your mouth is Rupaul, it makes you look a little homophobic and sheltered. I mean, come on, what's usually the first thing out of someone's mouth who doesn't like gays?

"Oh they're sexual freaks and heathens and they make me feel icky!!"

There is a whole spectrum of gays. Lawyers, nurses, boxers, flight attendants, musicians and mechanics. Just like straights. I know straight people who dress up in crazy make up too.

Is Rupaul the only gay person you know? I know the answer is NO. =)

I don't believe the 25% number that Howard used, but I do know there's a HUGE spectrum of sexual variation. Some are straight, some are gay, some are somewhere in the middle.

You saying that GAYS take themselves out of the pool that are biologically concerned with the propagation of the human species is comedy gold.

POLL----Straight people: How many of you were thinking about propagating the human species when you were hot n horny and looking for some action?

What person would choose to be bullied, harassed, threatened, beaten up, and even killed for just holding hands with someone of the same sex? Oh you didn't really say that, you said it's the environment in which they are raised that makes 'em gay. If that were true, all those intimidating words from a homophobic father to apossible queer son must not work. It's fricking child abuse to treat a kid that way. Child friggen abuse.

My good friend is a twin. Both twins (BOYS) grew up in the same household, with a loving Mom and baseball coach Dad. Well, one of them is gay and the other isn't.

I tell my kids it's Ok if they're gay or straight. Maybe I'm opening the door to homosexuality? I doubt it.

Our sexual preferences become known to us at a very young age. Ask some gays when they knew they were gay. Ask around. Not many will tell you it was their environment. (none)

And for marriage.....come on......really? Are you advocating taking away marriage from our society because it's not in the constitution? The Constitution doesn't mention a lot of things. Woman's rights and Abolishment of Slavery comes to mind. We can do better then the fricking Constitution.

So, in summary, I think your comments look silly, lack empathy and show an overall lack of knowledge on the subject. But, I still think your'e a good guy.

Cheers my brother,
Ateo

Seriously, Dennis, some here have compassion for you, and even think you're entitled to sexist opinions, while the world wait's for you to catch up. Relax. Your vested interest in RuPaul is highly suspect. I believe you're attracted to him. But then, I could be wrong. He does make an attractive woman, doesn't he?

Camp is a form of entertainment. Sometimes it's a lifestyle. I don't watch Ru's show personally, but it sounds like you've been watching too much.
