2 more sleeps


We head south on friday nov.8th and will be in Baja around Nov. 12

My question is : Are we going to have problems finding accomodations due to the Baja 1000 ??

If so could some suggestions from this forum be made please ??

We'll try the Jardine , Cielito Lindo , Old mill area on our first night

Then we will just have to see what is possible

yep! why don't you sleep on the north side of the border and drive it in a day? you know you can make GN in 9ish hours. check u2u.

You could book a room at Baja Cactus, Mission Santa Maria, Jardines now. There are some very nice hotels on the highway in San Quintin also. The Old Mill is closed.

oh geezo....I'm thinking stay with Sirena in Ensenada and drive straight here...by the way, Sirena translated the letter from the police into spanish for you to print out and have in case you are questioned by mexican authorities

Tim is bringing down uniforms for our whole Asuncion Police force compliments of my home town cops....which is really cool! We are now looking for a ride down for the bulletproof vests they want to send down.

I would rather do BA in two days...This was supposed to be a relaxing trip for us for the first time...We always had time constraints

We usually end up stopping at Home Depot and the bank in ensenada which makes El Rosario our overnighting place. As has been mentioned on Bajanomad there is now the motel south part of town that looks good. That is awesome about the police uniforms.
