New road to The Summit for Baja 1000???
I just picked this up from Armin Schwartz's Facebook page:
Thanks Roger putting this new road in Town to The Sumit Great demanding Race Track
These photos resemble Laguna Del Diablo - not Laguna Salada. But, who knows... I'll be investigating in 2 weeks time.

They are using Mano Canyon... where I led your Jeep club in 2003.

Mano Canyon? That can't be...it was a full-on rock bed there!

LOL... well, that was at the end of a short spur off the road I thought went to the rock cabin. You Jep guys sure loved driving on that boulder for
photos! Brock and I just watched and had a good laugh. I see you got my friend Jimmy in the first photo sitting on the rock. I haven't seen him in
years...

Ken, here is the Google Earth link of the 2013 Baja 1000 course... zoom in on Mano Canon and see it is indeed there: http://pizzamanagement.com/2013-score-baja-1000-map/
Race Mile 100 to 115 is Mano Canyon Road. Your photos above were taken around RM 110, but down in the canyon below the road.
