I could never figure out why some Mexican company didn't get into propane fridges. Seems like a real opportunity. More so 20+ years ago.

Most people who need propane fridges can not afford them - new - in Mexico.
$2,000 USD and up for new ones and $500 or more for used ones.

Consul gas refrigerators work well and are about $1200 new. The old Servels also work well if you can find one, we have one that is 60+ years old and
still works fine. Crystal Cold is another good brand but they are $2000 and up. I would stay away from ones with electronics, they tend to be
problematic.

Yep, lighting a fire to get things cold. Now...if I can get the stove to run on ice cubes??? My friend at Bufadora has a working Servel that probably
belongs in the Smithsonian.
