Looks like the new river crossover bridge under the main highway bridge is gonna open in the next couple of days..
You won't believe what they have done there.. I am not able to get a pic posted but maybe someone else can do..
Some $$$ are being spent from that point and down river from there... looks really nice..

It will be nice, and it was build that in case of a big storm (as in the past) the upper part of the bridge will collapse and allow the water to
pass,without damaging the foundation.

Yes, thanks...a good photo would be appreciated.

Could use it for comparison. A trivial bit of Mulege river history...along with everybody else, I used to wash my vehicles in the shallow riverbed
under the old bridge in 1974-5. Some of today's changes are good.

And also of great importance.........The river road, on the south side, now connects to the new concrete road going to Jorge Yees and the under the
bridge bridge. Quads and motos now have access to town with out having to use the highway.
A request.....please drive slow, kids and dogs and old people are around every bend.

If you haven't the time to learn or try, then send me any photos, I will size them to fit on Nomad (800 pixels) and add any caption you provide to
describe the photo.

How to post photos is in the first post in the Baja Nomad Baja Photo Album forum, at the very top of that forum.

The new river crossover bridge opened today as I hear it.. all new concrete pavement on the south side down from the curve past the water store and
also from the entrance at the end of the big bridge down to the new bridge..
Nice addition to that part of town..
very much appreciated by those of us on the SE side of the river...
maybe I can get some good pics in a couple of days..

Amen my friend, I don't mind helping out but we try to limit our trips into town to avoid the double or double double kaching. Its been hard to keep
enough change.. Merry Christmas anyway... still lovin the place....
