Vehicle info

My friend and me are interested in running in the atv sportsman class in the 2015 season.

We are currently building a "quad" from the ground up in our spare time. We are more interested in building a machine that is able to finish the race without any major mechanical failures.

I've done a bit of research and haven't been able to find any rules on what kind of vehicles are able to enter.

Is everyone required to buy a production vehicle in order to enter?

any info is appreciated

What racing series are you even asking about?
This is not a forum specifically devoted to the Baja 1000 or any other racing...

This may be relevant to your interests http://www.norra.com/mexican1000.php
