Nay, perhaps a bit of a holy grail mission, though. It has acquired on the East Cape around this time of year in the recent past.

This guy bought it in Playa del Carmen
Douberd
Netherlands
look: 4 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 4 | feel: 4 | overall: 4.5
I discovered this one on my last day in Playa Del Carmen, and I knew I had to try it, but unfortunately they were sold only on a package of six. So I
did the obvious, bought them and brought them all the way to Europe.
Very dark brown colour, a tone or two lighter from being totally black. Two finger head of brown colour that left a thick lace on the surface and
around the glass, once disolved.
Aroma is light, of dark chocolate, with some traces of coffee.
Very bitter taste with its bitterness persisting and staying for quite long in your mouth. The taste of chocolate is also there, albeit light.
Very thick on the body, sort of oily too, with light carbonation.

I guess I should have said, "no exist en Baja Sur ahora". My wife who is
like a ferret when it comes to shopping has been on the hunt for a month with no luck.

I'm nearly 100% sure I saw some at the Santa Carmela market just down the road from Home Depot 2 weeks ago. Won't be down that way until next week and
will look when I stop in.
Walmart in San Jose has been surprising me with bottled and canned beverages lately. Have to make a stop there today and will look. p.s. they had a
big pallet of warm 6-pack canned Corona--2 for $99mx. Bought a handful since Mega is now $68/ea and La Europea is $72/ea

Surprised to learn that it is a seasonal beer. Seems like it's always available over here in Sonora. Not as stout as most American style chocolate
stouts but, hey, a stout ale is good to find in Mexico.
But the summer Bohemia Weizen has disappeared, unfortunately. It was never very common this summer/fall. Hope it returns. Nice to have some options to
the "usual suspects" (Mexican lagers).
Our Tecate agencias and expendios (yes, and even the OXXOs) tend to have more than one type of Bohemia. Check at those, windgrrl.

The Santa Carmela market is fantastic. Thank you! It is also beer variety heaven. This whole little store is heaven! Who needs the holy grail?
Alas...they had Bohemia, but not the Bohemia Chocolate Stout (BCS). I also popped into Vinoteca and they also had Bohemia, Weizen, but not BCS. The
Vinoteca clerk rolled his eyes and said I might find it at OXXO or Walmart. Will save the searchf or or another day.
Thanks to all for ideas and opinions,
W

No Chocolate Stout at Walmart SJD but they did have Weizen, Obscura and Clara.
Also had 4 different Baja Brewery flavors in bottles (thought that was interesting).
La Europea now has Sapporo in bottles and the big cans and they are carrying Guinness again in bottle (eh).

Thanks so much. Saves me a detour to Walmart. OXXO is also distributing Bohemia. Now on to other, more important matters like is it going to be windy
enough today to sail hard and earn that beer???
Happy Saturday to all,
