Hotels in San Felipe
We will be heading down to Punta Chivato Feb 4th and we plan on crossing at Mexicali and spending the night in San Felipe.
We have never been there before and would appreciate any suggests as where to stay and eat. We will have my 89yr old mother with us and walking any
distance is not an option. Would appreciate your suggestions and if you have phone numbers of a good motel.

I like the El Cortez. Pricy for Mexico ($70.00 per night), but very nice rooms, right on the beach, great restaurant, walled property with security
guards and they take credit cards!

Last Friday night I did the same drive you are going to do and we stayed at Goerge's on the Malecon. Nice rooms and there is a restaurant on the
premises. We didn't eat there though 'cause on the way to the hotel I saw a "Tacos de cabeza" stand with my name on it. Great tacos de lengua.

El Capitan has secure parking and killer showers. One block to beach eats.

I live here but would choose Georges or El Capitan as #1 . Both better than the others. Hearing not great things about The Red Lobster lately.
BTW- Georges is on Mar De Cotez. It is the newest of the bunch.

I personally would not bother with any reservation,
Georges does adequately fit your requirements with
your mother

We stayed here and re named it El Crapitan
It is ok for a nights stay and there is a place to park your auto off street. However, if you have a trailer, you will have a heck of a time getting
it in and out of the parking courtyard.

Plenty of room for trailers at El Cortez. Don't get too close to the casino. Last time I was there, they were blasting music all evening. I heard
more than one person complain.

Last time I stayed at Don Jesus it was about $60. Not cheap but no nice hotel in SF is.
