Heading from Mulege to San Jaunico next Tuesday in our RZR
We are headed to San Juanico next Tuesday in our RZR with another couple. We are going to take the road across on Tuesday morning and head straight
there. We will spend the night Tuesday and head back Wednesday. We plan on camping Wednesday night out in one of the canyons in the middle of the
crossing and then being back in Mulege of Thursday mid day. If anyone wants to join us with the buggy or 4 wheel drive they are more than welcome!
Send a pm and I can fill you in on the details.

The Route: Mulegé to Scorpion Bay

Close Up:

The ruins of San Miguel (reported only the graveyard remains) are of an important visita (visiting station) of Mission Guadalupe. This is also on El
Camino Real between Loreto and San Diego...

Arrows point to where the 300 year old mission road can be seen today on Google Earth.

Rancho Los Angeles on the Crosby ECR map (west of San Miguel) is where the Camino Real switchbacks down the mountain. On the Almanac map (above
Crosby's) it is called 'Piedra de la Cuesta'

Right now we have three vehicles going. The pace is going to be normal to the slower side so if anyone wants to join in there prerunner, jeep or four
wheel drive vehicle you are more than welcome. The road is in good condition right now. We just drove across it last week. So far the couple in the
jeep will not camp so they will continue back to Mulege on Wednesday. That gives you the option of camping Wednesday night or going back Wednesday
afternoon to Mulege. This is going to be a lot of fun and even better with a large group of people!
