Yeungling is a grand beer value, but, not very available west of the Miss'.

I'm a fan of San Diego's breweries. Here are my 3 favorites for lagers and IPAs right now:

http://www.greenflashbrew.com/
http://www.ballastpoint.com/
http://www.stonebrew.com/

Funny thing on beer when I visit friends in USA. They ask me which Mex beer they should stock in their frig for my visit. Kind friends they are, youbetcha. But, I prefer visiting local micro brews for variety and adventure.

Yeah, you won't find Yuengling west of Ohio or so.
I miss it and cheesesteaks dearly.

On the topic of Pennsylvania beers, does anyone remember Old Frothingslosh, the beer with the head on the bottom?

You should be able to order it if its not already in stock at larger beverage houses. Ours stocks it, Grammy likes it so we have it on ice when she arrives.

I remember it as

Old Frothingslosh. The pale stale beer with the foam on the bottom.

Yup. I remember it!

It's not distributed in California, so you'd need to order it from a state that is willing to ship alcohol. I've never seen it for sale in Baja. Oh, and it's "ying-ling" regardless of how it's spelled.
