Mulege laundry
Just rolled in to Mulege at dusk. We are planning on spending all day tomorrow (Tuesday the 4th.) in the area.
Looking for leads where we can drop off a bag of laundry in the morning and get it back the same day.

Lavenderia de Mulege
Go into town through the golden arch on the highway.
Follow the road to the stop sign and go through one block.
At the fire station turn left and follow that road to the first stop sign.
You'll see the pink house on your right at this corner. The laundry is there, entry just around the corner.
They open at 7 or 8 in the morning, I think. Close at 6 pm.
Edited to add, Welcome to Mulege, Gulliver. Enjoy your travels!
Edited a second time to add that if you're staying at Las Casitas they can arrange to pick up your laundry and return it, clean & folded, to your
room.

Thanks Mulegna. We found a spot down near the water at Cuesta Real. We have a motorcycle in our little trailer so a run up town in the morning will be
just fine.
Any idea what they might charge for a bag? We seldom use a lavamatica as it usually doesn't save much.
Been rough camping in our class B for a couple of weeks on the way South so the sheets are starting to get a big high!

If you go thru the arches and go right at the first block. Go to the first stop. Turn left (bancomer on your left) go one block and the laundry will
be on the corner (SE corner). They'll wash, dry and fold for about 60 pesos for a good size bag.

From Cuesta Real on your motorcycle you can take the scenic river road into town. You'll love it, so pretty, especially in the morning with all the
birds and fresh air.
So, to revise your directions, take the river road east-- no scratch that, I mean west, go west, Gulliver, my young man-- and you'll come up onto a
newly concreted road that goes to the bridge under the highway. Make a right under the bridge and you'll come into town and pass the plaza. Continue
straight. At the second stop sign you'll see the pink lavenderia. No idea the cost for wash & fold, sorry.
Go have breakfast. Las Casitas, Los Equipales or Mele's-- all walking distance from the lavenderia.
Edited to get my directions straight.

Thanks all. Got it.
We usually sneak out to the cheap seats beyond the landing strip but it was getting dark and Mario is a nice guy AND they have WiFi.
Nice to be dropping by after a few years absence. Had a close one about at the Three Virgins lava flow. Some local hero in a big pickup decided that
waiting ten seconds would cause in important part of his anatomy to fall off and nearly took out us along with a semi going the other way. Within a
foot of both of us. Worst one I've had in years. If I hadn't slammed on the binders really hard it would have been a head on between him and the semi.
I'm not opposed to natural selection but I don't want to be involved and it would have been unfair to the trucker.
Downtown sure looks funny in Santa Rosalia with all the single mine workers wandering around looking bored. And they were out of Boleos at the bakery!
Catastrophy.
Hanging out here until Wednesday a.m. at least and then drifting down towards Ligui.
We have been averaging less than 150km a day. Small animals migrate faster than us.

Sandra or Maio can do your laundry at Cuesta Real, no need to go to town.
