Maggie Drake??
Who is Marjorie Ann "Maggie" Drake? I bumped into her site and she has a rant going on about how evil Baja Nomad is. And by the way, I am shocked,
simply SHOCKED that someone is making money of of the ads here above.

I don't get it. New to the forum and unfamiliar with "banned", I don't get it. Looked at 6/7 & 11/7, & still don't get it. What say you.

If you say too many crazy things, threaten members, send spam, and the like, you get banned. In other words, you can't post under that user name, and
sometimes even your unique IP address is locked out of Baja Nomad; and the offending post is usually removed. Maggie was likely guilty of two of those
three.

There are rules of conduct posted that you are supposed to read when joining... several will push the envelope to see how close they can get... Doug
(the chief Nomad here) is very tolerant... so if someone gets banned, they REALLY REALLY went above and beyond... Doug has given some Nomads a
'time-out' and allowed them back... He is very tolerant. You need thick skin and not let the haters blow you away...

This is true from a banned bad boy as I was years ago. "You need thick skin"...might just be an understatement ......at times here.

Maggie mostly translates the local print news from Spanish to English on her site. She's a prolific blogger and has strong opinions on almost
everything Baja. I like her spunk and her pit-bull grip on a topic or grudge. She is very smart and does not suffer fools gladly. If you post a
comment on her site- make sure your thoughts are clear and consistent and your grammar good or you'll be lunch. She has a love/hate relationship with
me that is currently re-set to "love" for the holidays. She's part of the charm of Baja blogging, really. Just take it all in tongue-in-cheek and be
glad you're just a fly on the wall.
There are many rivalries in the Baja blog-o-sphere that were developed six or seven years ago. I've never tried to figure it all out, but some are
obsessed with prolonging them. Whatever floats their boats...

Woooosh is right. She's the best source of current events translated from North Baja Mexican newspapers available. You can't find this anywhere
else. You just have to know when she's about to squirm out of her straight-jacket and go Jaws on everybody on her shtlist.
Fulano has excellent info from various sources as well. A lot can be learned from both blogs.
By the way...Fulano was banned from Nomad as well....just to keep the record fair and balanced.

Well according to Dennis, Alex Pabloff is the go to guy about her to verify her real existence because she supposedly rented in La Joya. After
talking with him personally by telephone, a friend that spoke to him today says the Alex told her he never heard of her.
