Hotel Posada El Rey Sol is a good place. Has the wifi, park next to your room, dog friendly, clean. We stay there when we can.

I still like the old world style of Hotel Papagayos. Easy to enter off main highway. Gated, individual bungalows, privacy, very secure parking for
any size rigs. Has a resort feel and you can see the water. Reminds me of classic times.
I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.

The owner of Hotel San Nicolas is Nico Saad. He is not only an olympic athlete, but is also very well connected to the political structure in BC.
Hence the casino. ( translate to close friend of Hank Jorge Rhon)
I have chatted with Nico on several occasions. He is a really nice guy.
You really cannot do better than to stay at his hotel.

One more for San Nicolas. Love the secure parking, good wifi. The owner, Nico, is a great human.
Circa mid-2000s, my wife and I saw President Felipe Calderón, with entourage, get out of a car and walk up the steps to the hotel while we were
leaving the place. |
I remember that.

Really like San Nicolas with all the connections from casino, pool, hot Jacuzzi, restaurant, great bar and just behind it is another great place to
eat El Bronco. You can't go wrong eating there give it a try if you stay there.
We leave stuff in our truck in the secure parking also tip the security guy to watch ever so closely with promise of more if truck and things still
there in the morning. LOL Never a problem here but understand it is an older hotel so well used but still ok for the price about $65 dollars a night
if you haggle a little at the desk. Take Care & Travel Safe-----"No Hurry, No Worry, Just FUN" bajafun777

I mentioned that Nico was well connected.
And, Bajafun, as far as I know the steakhouse that you were referring to is called Broncos. It's just a block away from San Nicolas.
But I have to admit that when staying there, we have found their restaurant to be very good.
When we stay there, we will occasionally head over to nearby Las Cazuelas, and if we are there long enough, we will head over to Lopez Mateos, most
likely to go to Jean Luc Bitterlins French place.

Indeed. Nice atmosphere. Great service. Usually a piano player. And the place where I had boneless conejo that was to die for.
