hotel coral, and spend the night. Beautiful view of the Marina, and the buffet and restaurant have beautiful views as well and wonderful food. Get the junior suite, it's the same price but has a separate livingroom. You better make reservations though

Hands down, Sano's....... Best in town

We usually get the Porterhouse and split it, or if you are lucky, they will have Prime Rib.

Casa Natalie in El Sauzal ( a little north of Ensenada). Private beach, gorgeous view of Todos Santos Island, AND a personal chef.
The room comes with a bottle of tequila (El Agave Artesanal Añejo).
The rooms are incredible!

It's not very romantic, but just as you enter into the town of Ensenada (the first traffic light), there are two restaurants with really great food:

Muelle Tres, right on the malecon.
The other is Casa de Langosta just behind Muelle tres. Park in the pay parking lot. You can get to both from there.

I like the whole experience of Hotel Coral, the food is good enough to be able to take a stroll at the Marina after dinner. Sano's is of course the best food around without a doubt, but I prefer Hotel Coral for Valentine's Day.

Well heck if you don't want to eat there, which I recommend, Sano's is the best you could probably drive there in 2 minutes.

Sano's is very very close to the Hotel Coral, head south and it's sort of hidden on the right side of the road, you don't even get to the entrance of Ensenada. Ask the hotel for directions, but it's very very close.

There is a place called Manzanilla's, which is past the immigration offices. If you look at the flagpole you make a right and go past the Black Market and then make a left going towards the Portuario and the immigration offices on your right, there is a great little restaurant on your right called Manzanilla, everything is freshly made, and they have their own daily menus depending on the fresh ingredients they get for the day. It's a very cozy place and the walk through the Black Market and on the boardwalk is refreshing.

Muelle Tres is owned by the same family, it's a little tiny place with plastic furniture right on the boardwalk with phenomenal seafood; but closes at 5 pm. Manzanilla is very rustic and has a lot of ambience; as you can see by the link, and serves all types of food. I would consider it having a romantic atmosphere, and the walk across the marina back to the hotels will be a good after dinner experience.
