'Food truck' style dining in La Paz??
Excuse me please for not knowing the proper vernacular for this...I have seen tv shows about Portland and San Antonio about specialty 'food trucks'.
We were in La Paz a month ago and just after sundown we were driving on Abasolo towards the malecon just past 5th of Feb and I was looking left and
chattering about something while husband (he told me later) was looking right and saw in the parking lot of that big boating store there was a big
white nice shiny trailer with clothed tables set up.
Could've been a private event but since we are rarely out anywhere after dark, thought maybe there is an evening 'temporary' food scene going on?
We'd stay out later for dinner if there was something like this happening. Going back to La Paz this week.
Anyone know what it was we saw?

The sushi stand is supposed to be good, but there is a lot 'street food' around in La Paz, from fish tacos during the day to hot dogs and hamburgers
at night.

Boat Stores
Alan , I 'd like to purchase some Yamah Ring free, Yamalube and Salt free /Ajorona may have some but I dont think they have the ring free. I've been
to Baja Marks for tackle but I'd like to find an alternative to Ajorona.
Thanks

I saw a sign on Forjadores roughly across from the mall that claimed they were a certified Yamaha mechanic so they may have the Yamalube and Ring Free
but I haven't stopped in yet. I just had a friend fly in some jugs of Ring Free from NOB because I couldn't find it locally but I didn't search too
hard since my friend was on his way.
From Ajorona on Abasolo heading toward Chedraui there is another boating place that I think has Merc and Evinrude signs out front. They had some
kayaks and outboards inside but I didn't look at the lubricants.
The Chandlery across from the La Paz Marina I think handles primarily sailboats but they may be able to better direct you. Good luck with your search
and please share your find. My supply won't last long.

Back to the point, the only person I've heard comments from, a Japanese lady who "is supposed to" know sushi, reported that she got sick after eating
there. |
It means that I have heard from people that have eaten there that the food is good. It is also often very busy, which is usually a pretty good sign.
