Yep, chief of police in San Diego resigned abruptly yesterday amidst the ongoing sexual misconduct probe of San Diego's finest.

After listening to what little news was offered, I got the impression that the chief and Falconer, the mayor elect, were having problems.
We'll never know.

Breaking news!

After an exhaustive search of less than 24 hours, the mayor elect appoints an insider as new chief of police! An insider who has never worked a day on the outside! The city is doomed to another generation of same old same old!

This is what happens when you elect the GOP mayoral candidate chosen by the back room good old boys.
The plutocrats elected a puppet mayor, and today he made his puppet masters proud!
Yahoo! Americas most mediocre city!

" PS those signs do meet the MINIMUM State requirements………… "

So do 3-second amber lights. Or no advance warning signs when you are headed toward a signal light intersection where your street becomes ONE WAY against your flow of traffic

Or letting the RED LIGHT RUNNER CAMERA COMPANY (Who reaps a percentage of the ticket loot) set THEIR OWN STANDARDS for determining how long an amber light stays on. They NEVER set the light the same as before the camera was installed. The time of amber "burn" is shorter.

Gimme a freakin' break. Those no right turn signs would be ripped down and sent to the crusher in 99% of California Cities.
