Visa shedding
I cancelled my Residente Temporal (FM3) today, quite painless. Was charged 300 pesos, and allowed 15 days to leave the country....

Back to Colorado for a while,, Dennis. I havnt had Christmas with my kids in almost 20 years. I have great Grandchildren I have never seen. I need
knee surgery.....I have to shed a wife....Too many rocks in my pack...Piles up....Baja and I have had a love affair for almost 40 years....it aint
over...God willing, I'll be back...

I'm a little surprised at the 300 peso charge. How close to expiration was it? Did they indicate that it was an "early cancellation fee" or something?
Which office did you cancel it at? Santa Rosalia?

The 300 pesos was for letter preparation and copies..not a cancellation fee
