| Day Trip To Rosarito - Rustic Furniture and Tile Shopping

Lately we've been heading down for day trips. Sentri allows one to cross quickly, enabling a taco trip to TJ, and lunch date to El Nido, or a quick
surf at Baja Malibu.

This week we headed to Artisan Row in the Rosarito area. We were looking for a few custom furniture items as well as some tile for the bathroom.

As always, we came back with a bunch more ideas, but we are refining and hope to place an order at Casa Rustica soon!!

We headed to Calafia for lunch, but there was no one in the parking lot. We decided to go to Puerto Nuevo and hit up Chelas.

Time was running out. Time to go pick up the kids from school!

 Went to beach after school:

Thanks for the recommendations Nomads. we didn't make it to Fausto this trip. Maybe next week.

 Adios.

I love living in San Diego for this very reason - next door is a whole different world!

Yes that sure looks like a nice lunch. Next time we cross we might go to one of these stores and pick up some pots. Then we'll stop off and get some
Coke. Then when we cross we can tell the border people that we are bringing pot and coke over.
