After there was no response to tracking the first few tries, I gave up until this morning when I got this info. So, I'm about to head to town.

Thanks all.

Oh, I Googled Baja Pack Vizcaino and this thread came up!!!

I hope this will be a help to others in the future. I changed the subject line for easier searching.

Thanks again for all the help. Perhaps I will encounter someone I can help today!

There is nothing like a good plan in Mexico. I set out shortly after writing my post above and arrived in Vizcaino about two hours after the bank was shut down for the day by a power outage which crashed their computer system.

Yes the card came perfectly, I just couldn't use it.

Damn I wish my health allowed the consumption of massive quantities of alcohol!!!:lol: Or any at all.

Thanks all for your help.

way to go woody! that was very cool of you to do. and everyone learned a new system for shipping things up and down Baja. we have used paja pack many times. Once I used the other service (name slips my mind). It was very difficult to receive the package as their hours were odd, their office was hard to find.

BajaPack is located at every bus stop that the ABC and Aguila buses stop at ...and I believe that nowadays can even go as far as Bahia Asuncion and La Bocana since we have that special ecotour bus that serves our communities. Make sure to send the package OCURRE so that anyone can pick it up. (I will double check this, but that is my understanding).

The only town that is being difficult and requires the person named on the package to pick anything up is San Ignacio. and that is because some lady picked up her sister's package and then said she didn't have the goods - the sister then threatened to sue BajaPack.

Come visit La Bocana
