with mexico having changed the laws what would be suitable coverage on a vehicle for liability only coverage.

Due to the recent National Liability increase requirements, a liability only policy will be about $190.00 USD.
I added theft, vandalism, medical evacuation, car rental, auto club style towing, lawyer stuff, and it added another $100 to the policy...i felt it was worth the cost.

I believe it was Jan.1 2013, the PURPOSED insurance
payouts in the event of a death to another party,
if that is waht you are referring to, went up. To
confuse things, different Mex States have different
amounts. B Sur is higher than B Norte. Niether of the
San Diego based Mex Insurance Co's. have seen any
results, yet. Nor do they remember any of their insured
causing a fatality. I believe in a RARE case, the $300,000
libility would not be enough. A Insurance kiosk at San
Ysidro has posted on their wall, $500,000 as their standard
coverage. That would ruin one's day to not to have
enough
