Facebook Ensenada Gas Station Expose'?
Anyone hear about a Facebook page that shows crooked and good gas stations in Ensenada? If this is true it might be the first reason for me to open a
face book page.
If true maybe we could help set it up all over Baja to identify stations that cheat ?

ENSENADA.- In just four hours, the Facebook page, "Gas Station Thieves of Ensenada" has accumulated almost 500 followers.
The administrators propose to "burn the gas stations that are robbing us by giving short liters of gasoline, as well as name those few who give
complete liters."
At least eight stations are pointed out by the administrators as stations which sell "short liters," some of them located on Reforma, Villas del Real
III, Pórticos, San Antonio de las Minas and El Naranjo.

This is a great idea. This will grow all over Mexico as social media takes the place of failed government monitoring. Kind of like Mexico's version of
GasBuddy.com except instead of looking at price which is all the same they will look at volume. Very cool.
Looking forward to the Los Cabos version.
No b-tchin\' in the Baja.

I'm so glad they included the (BRAND NEW) S. Antonio de las Minas station. They also pull the shady disappear-with-your-500$-bill-and-don't-come-back
bit.

Oh, now PROFECO says they're going to inspect them all. I'm sure there'll be previous appointments ("we'll be inspecting you Wednesday at 11...") and
they'll pass with flying colors. That's what that switch is for.

I "FRIENDED" the site.
However, it is a great one for those of us who read Spanish.
I suppose you could cut and paste a post into google translate.

This ranking Pemex stations for honest pours is difficult to read without map and rating interface. I think it would work much better in a system like
yelp, where you could see rankings on a map, reviews for each station, etc,. Very few people have time to wade through a list and Facebook post
nonsense,...
Heck, even a bajanomad map head could put the pemexes on google maps, with color coded place marks to show honesty and bathroom cleanliness rating,
and post the kml or kmz file here,...
