Waiting a half hour for gas to save maybe $1.00-$2.00?

That's seems like a waste of time and gas while idling.

I agree, I won't do it (at least right now). although it is about a $5.00 per tank saving. Gee, that's over one gallon of free gas!!

I totally agree.

But the real culprits are the commodity traders who have no stake in the oil companies with the exception that they profit from screwing with the price they pay simply to put cash in their own pockets. We need to wake up to the fact that folks who don't actually create wealth are making it hand over fist from hard working folks.

There was just a study released that showed that the American middle class is no longer the most well off middle class in the world. We have fallen behind Canada and Europe.

And the poor class in the US trails dramatically behind many other countries.

Thanks alot Ronald Reagan. You started this decline. Trickle down, my culo.

uh... Ronald Reagan hasn't been president for 25 years
you might want to look to more proximate causes

If you folks don't realize that the so-called trickle down economic theory was totally wrong, I feel sorry for you.

New information just released shows that there is a world-wide decline in births. What this means going forward is that working people will find their wealth shrinking, while the investor class will continue to grow their wealth, simply because they only invest, which means in the most profitable investments.

In a certain sense, this has been going on in Mexico for at least half a century, a primary reason for the vast wealth gap down there for all these people resulting in the migration to El Norte. Trouble is, that as US citizens begin to feel that same squeeze, there's no where to go.

They can go to Canada and to 15 other countries as their middle class real income has in creased upward significantly more than middle class income in the USA which has not grown at all from 2000 to now. So, the middle class in the USA is way behind. However, the USA still has the richest wealthy class whose real income has grown colossally during that time. The USA no longer is a leader in the world for middle class income, not even close.

Both you guys are way, way off. At what point in time has Russia even come close to overtaking the USA prior to Reagan? And currently, Russia is no match for the USA, economically or militarily, not even close...never has been.

BTW, the USSR imploded politically and economically...Reagan did not bring the USSR down, he just stood back with the rest of the world and watched their demise all on their own based on bad economics and geopolitics lead by ambitious old guys that didn't care about their own people, just power.

That was posted three days ago. After the original question has been answered, the thread becomes open territory. It's in the Rule Book. Page nine.
