Is this thread a Posada bash or an advertisement for Mulege Properties?

Justbozo- my mistake. I only mentioned Mulege Properties because I thought a person looking at Posada might want to talk to a realtor. Others who know Robin chimed in which changed the focus of the initial question.

My two cents is that there are probably many folks who dream of living in Mexico, but tire of it after awhile. Sort of like the same that happens in Hawaii. People who visit and see paradise, get seduced, until the realities set in.

I'm not saying that there are not many people who moved to Baja and have been there a long time, and thoroughly love it. But, as many of you guys on the board have told others, you absolutely have to rent and spend significant time down there before you commit. Too many people just do not do that.

Thanks for the input.

We bought our place on our first trip to Baja. Still feels like a great descision now that I am back in BC at work. You are right though renting first would have been a wiser option. My wife fell in love with a Plumeria in front of the house and the rest is history.
