I just heard from a friend who has lots of family in San Ignacio, and she said the fire was in the palms and is under control now, thank goodness!

Fires are quite common there.
I heard the fire was out!
I was there for my birthday one year and there was a fire
Some people claimed that it was the candles on my cake.

I wonder if the new place La Huerta was affected...looks like it's near there from the photo. No way in hell I would ever have a place in a palm grove as beautiful as they are...fire scares the crap out of me.
