Bus services within Baja
Due to my budget, I had to reduce the roadtrip to a mostly bus trip, with probably Loreto as base and occasional car hire there.
Can anybody tell me whether it is possible to reach some of the side destinations in Baja by local buses (bahia de los angeles from ??)?
And if I have a ticket for the ABC bus going to loreto and back, is it possible to interrupt the journey? jump out somewhere, take a local bus to a
side destination, and get back in a few days and continue?
Thanks
Martin

Gene Kira did an article on bus service in Baja, it may help some:

I don't think you can get into Bay of LA by bus; if you email camp gecko they may have some ideas.

You will probably stop at Carmalitas in Mulege for food.
Enjoy a great meal.

Thanks Neil,
how can I contact camp gecko? Any webpage?
Thanks for the link as well. I will try to figure out a way to reach bahia de LA.
Maybe I will find somebody in Loreto driving there

I forget how long you are going to be traveling but I bet that you can find plenty to do in and around Loreto without spending all your time trying to
get to too many other places.
You will love Loreto. It is a beautiful town and the surrounding area has much to offer in the way of activities.
You might want to slow down and smell the cactus(just dont get too close!)
