The link works. You just have to know how to get around BN's filters.

OK, Google "fulano files" and type in Playas de Rosarito. Hope that works!

Besides, on that thread you can't believe a word written anyway. That 'person' (I use the term loosely) is a certified spin-troll; best (or worst) in the business of taking half-facts, half-truths, and boiling it into a heaping mess of lies, slander and carnage. His chit is not newsworthy, unless you're out of Charmin'.

If you notice, 3/4's of every thread on there is dedicated to slam, slander and hate on BN and everyone on here, that's their purpose, their passion and their reason for being, including a couple of two-faces still posting here. Nothing but poison. Just watch, betcha within 48 hours THIS thread will be on there too.

Bajabuddha:

You could be right on...I was passing this on and like most things on the Internet, the material is subject to scrutiny. I have no first hand knowledge of this project but the story seems plausible and if the photos/maps are correct there is a case to be made. Over the years we have heard bad stories of developers only thinking of greed...make money at all costs. Is this but another example?

What is good about forums is a chance for all to make comments and observations and have an open discussion. Freedom of the press can cut several ways.

I wouldn't go there unless I had a strong stomach and up to date virus protection.

Many of the posts, are from unverified travel boards, from the comment sections.

Everyday in California, there are real estates, problems, conflicts, and scams, so it's no surprise you will find real estate problems in Playas de Rosarito.

Just a quick check at the California Department of Real Estate, you can see hundreds of real estate firms, or agents that faced serious disciplinary action for infractions such as fraud, ripping off buyers, and a number of other unlawful real estate actions. And this is just in the state of California.

Give Wesson a cookie, he is absolutely right.

We had the subprime mess with Wall Street, and the banks scamming poor people who didn't have a clue what they were signing, while the banks knew full well, the subprime home owner couldn't afford they home loans they took out, and some minorities who qualified for regular loans were steered to sub prime loans anyway, because of the high fees those loans generated.

The whole country in the USA almost went into another great depression like we had in the late 20's to 40's because of Wall Street, and the fallout over the housing crisis.

Sure in Mexico, Baja, and Rosarito, we have some shady real estate operators ,agents, lawyers, and scammers, some who wear a black glove(s) and have a fondness for turtle soup were known to operate in the area. But it's not just Mexicans, who are engaged in real estate stealing, scamming, and trying to take advantage of title problems in Rosarito.

I personally know of an American gringo that was trying to steal this Mexican woman's house in Rosarito, but he was unsuccessful, because she fought him legally, and won. Sometimes the legal system in Mexico works.

I cannot speak for anyone but myself but EVERY and I mean EVERY interaction I've had with realtors or brokers has involved some sort of malfeasance or incompetence on their part.

Made a firm offer on a boat including a check. Two weeks later I see some new people working on the boat. Turns out that the broker had taken my offer and shown it to several potential buyers including the new owners. No refusal to me. No indication that he had even shown my offer to the owner. Took three weeks and serious pressure to get my check back.

Rather than mud wrestle with pigs in court, I just made sure that anyone who might want to deal with them heard my story complete with written documentation.

Went to sell my home in order to go wandering in my sailboat and not deal with renters. Gave the job to a sailing friend in the business. Another realtor out of the same office was the buyer's realtor. Both realtors drink a lot together. I got screwed in many ways, both large and small.

I have documentation of three more blatant evil deals where I was dealt with unprofessionally to say the least.

I've bought two houses since then. Twice I've walked away from deals when I found out that the seller had even been talking to a realtor or agent.

There may be honest and competent middle persons out there but in 71 years I have yet to deal with one.

Want to talk hypocrites who spend as much time on the Hate Site as here, here's your slob.

Foolano's blogs have no business on this site, and you can read most of these blogs there with a 'spin' and a stab in them. I'm not saying the Rosarito realty scam didn't happen, but I do know some of the players are spiteful bitter haters, so i'd look for other sources of FACTS.
