Just so, David, you don't forget your own statement. " I found out manufacturers can buy favorite treatment " so like accusing someone of fraud to me. and CR would not take this as spreading cheer.

Jeeeezo-----I will never understand these personal insults--------this is the crap that drove me away from the NOMADS board several months ago----------it never stops, and few (if any) ever learn that it leads nowhere except to injure or kill participation in learning about Baja, and each other (something that we all are supposed to love) ?!?!?!?!?!?.

Me thinks you are upset that CR no longer recommends the Toyota Tacoma , and CR wrote a review of the Tacoma that painted your fav truck in bad light -- so you find some ridiculous post on a toyota fan boy website and latch onto it as truth...

Sorry some of you don't get my humor. If you can't laugh then why bother getting on line? Do some of you like to be mean?

Goat, I don't read CR anymore, I didn't know they said something bad about Tacomas. Thank you for verifying they are a flawed publication! See, I knew years ago they weren't objective any longer.

While no truck is 100% perfect, the shear number of Tacomas on the road today compared to all other brands testifies that Toyota is doing something right!

Best Selling VEHICLE? Of course not... that's just silly!

If you are in Southern California, it would be hard to argue the Tacoma isn't the best selling small (or mid-sized) TRUCK around here (or maybe the rest of the country?).

You will see maybe 8 Tacomas for every one Ranger, Frontier, or other small truck on the road.

F150 is NOT a small or mid size truck... the Ranger is (or was, since Ford could not compete with Tacoma and quit making them)... silly boy.

I am amazed and awed that DK, just driving down the street, can scan every truck, do the math and come up with an 8-1 ratio...That's powerful....

Seems this is hard for you, so I will give it one more try: The TUNDRA (second generation) is a full size truck... that would compare to the F-150. The Tacoma is a mid size or small truck... not everyone wants that size. Apples and Oranges when you are in different categories trying to compare.
