Fishermen in doubt about vaquita preservation plan

They might have saved the vaquita in the Sea of Cortés, but did they sacrifice the fishermen to do so?

In San Felipe, Baja California, nearly 900 fisherman and permit holders must stop the one thing they’ve done their entire lives and the one thing that has put food on their table.

Fishermen are just farmers who never have to plant or tend their crops. I haven't heard much sympathy for the Ca farmers who lost their water to "endangered species", or for the field workers out of a job.

"... the one thing that has put food on their table"
One door closes, another one opens. Hasn't everyone experienced a closed door in their lives? And what happened?
