I think it was Juncalito where Baja Angel saw her first big mango tree loaded with fruit!

Juncalito was a shark fishing camp led by Ramon Villalejo and his 90 year old father... when we hired him to take us fishing in 1973.

Roger, isn't that saddle a little big for that dog?

What a great collection of photos this thread has produced.

It's just a desert with a little pink and purple mixed in.

Taken a few hours before Kurt Caselli would lose his life in the Baja 1000 a few miles down this road.....

I don't know who owned the tree... it is visible from Hwy. 1. Her (Baja Angel's) first seen mango tree with fruit.
