Sunrise at sea

Always my favorite sunrise...at sea.

(Although it can be a little early for some...)

Sunset (sorta)

So I asked the guy, "Is that the sun setting or the moon rising?"

And he said, "How would I know? I don't live around here."

With a digital camera, what you see is not always what you get. The sun was up and I was looking for something to block it for one more picture. The little fake palm was in the right spot so I lined it up and shot. What I saw on the computer was not what I had seen through the view finder. I have tried to duplicate it several times since and have not been able to. You need a NO wind day with no clouds. Even the slightest breeze messes up the reflection on the water that makes the trunk appear to be on fire.

I tried to post it at a larger size and it would not go. What is the maximum size a picture can be on the board?

Nice to see more great sets!

For those who missed out...

There are many new pics that should be added.

If you want to print the postcards correctly, first download the photo to your harddrive etc.. Next set up your printer with the smallest margin possible and set for regular letter size in horizontal mode.
Print at your printers highest resolution setting and use photo-quality paper.

They are all great shots. I still can't make up my mind which one is best. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
