Goodmorning to mostly everyone:coolup:
So I finally did it.
My friends on here will cheer and those other kind of people... will find some way to pee on it I'm sure.
To my friends thank you...
...and to that other kind of person... "Justice is mine sayeth the Lord"!!!!!!!
I'm praying for you to recieve justice. But I would certainly be glad to help the Lord out and do it myself...
Just give me your address... I take a train ride...

Ok.
Wow! That was incredible.
Baja is always what you think it will be and so much more. A bigger than life experience in a bigger than life place...
And I've been a few places... big ones...

Every trip is a learning experience and a real eye opener.
Made some new friends and a new frienenemy (EL Perro).
Perro Malo even let me open the gate without much more that a few barks. He was laying low and his camoflage is perfect for Baja.
No doubt he hangs with the coyotes a bit. Yes, he is that sneaky!
Anyway, the bite doesn't hurt much anymore and it couldn't ruin my Baja glow anyway.
My new house is even better than I remembered it. I had only been inside twice before.
When I 1st went there to discuss property with the developer and once when a guy named John Reed was renting it.
He bought a few lots after I did.
He built a house there. He seemed really cool at 1st.
But his mistake was "dillusion of granduer".
He seemed to believe he would get his wife back if he built her an "elegant" house I think he called it.
He built it and no one came.
Except the Prince and legal people.
He immediately got on the wrong side of the Prince by not following CC and R's.
He built a 2 story on the waterfront. No allowed.
House abandoned. Ransacked.
He is long gone...
It is better if the Prince likes you...

So now it is my turn.
I made a tiny bit of progress in that I have a builder and a architech.
I was a little slow leaving trying to get some money to the builder so he can begin.
He starts on Monday.
And all my plans will have the Royal seal before one shovel strikes dirt.
I plan to be there... forever...

Best of luck on the new chapter, Mike.

I appreciate that you took the time to share your trip.

That some here had to add their hate rather than just not look at your posts is baffling. My opinion is if you don't like what you see here, then don't look. If you can add or provide better details, then that can only help all those who do seek information... great!

So, what is next for you?
Is there a time table and will you drive your own vehicle south the next time?
When do you begin the visa process for becoming a legal resident instead of a tourist? That would be interesting.

So many questions, so little time!

Thanks Dave.
I have forget what I had planned when I got home.
I hope I made notes.
Vacate my Costa Mesa apt, get all my medical lined up, get my truck registered...
Get my tail back down there and start my new life...
Thank you again to everyone.
